By using Brightgly’s services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities when accessing our tutoring services. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us before using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Brightgly’s services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our services.
2. Service Description
Brightgly offers tutoring for students from 3rd to 12th grade. Tutors are selected from students in 10th to 12th grade and must meet certain academic and behavioral standards.
3. Tutor Requirements
Tutors must:

Have a GPA of 3.8 or higher.

Have no behavioral issues.

Provide three academic references.

Complete an interview with Brightgly.
4. Registration and Selection
Students must register and complete an initial assessment. Brightgly will assign a tutor based on the student’s needs and the tutor’s availability.
5. Tutor Responsibilities
Tutors must:

Provide high-quality tutoring.

Be on time and follow the schedule.

Inform us of any changes in availability.

Keep student information confidential.
6. Student and Parent Responsibilities
Students and parents must:

Provide accurate academic information.

Set clear tutoring goals.

Ensure the student is available and engaged.
7. Fees and Payments
Tutoring fees will be agreed upon in advance. Brightgly may change fees with prior notice.
8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the session. Late cancellations will incur a 50% charge.

If you’re not happy with the tutor, we’ll offer a trial session or change tutors based on your needs.
9. Changes to Terms
Brightgly can update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and it’s your responsibility to review them.
10. Limitation of Liability
Brightgly is not responsible for any damages or loss related to using our services. Success depends on the student’s effort.
11. Confidentiality
We’ll keep all personal information confidential and won’t share it with third parties without consent.

Tutor Regulations
Punctuality: Be on time for all sessions. If late, inform the student/parent at least 15 minutes in advance.
Preparedness: Come prepared with materials and a plan for the session.
Professionalism: Always maintain a respectful and professional attitude.
Confidentiality: Keep all student information private.
Communication: Provide feedback on the student's progress and be open with both the student and parents.
Flexibility: Offer both online and in-person sessions to meet student needs.
Payment & Cancellations: Notify 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Sessions must be paid on time.
Student Engagement: Keep sessions interactive and adjust to the student's learning style.
Session Duration: Sessions are 1 to 1.5 hours unless otherwise agreed.
Feedback: Provide regular updates on student progress and areas for improvement.
Tutor Cancellations

More than 24 hours' notice: Session will be rescheduled with no charge.
Less than 24 hours' notice, but more than 2 hours: Session will be rescheduled with a possible discount for the inconvenience.
Less than 2 hours' notice: A free session will be offered, and the tutor may be reviewed.
Repeated Cancellations: Repeated cancellations may result in reassignment or termination of the tutor.
What to Expect for Parents
Late Tutor Arrival: If the tutor is 15 minutes late, the session is free of charge.
Late Cancellation (Less than 24 hours): A cancellation fee may apply.
Tutor Availability: If the tutor becomes unavailable, a replacement or reschedule will be offered.
Student Progress: If parents are concerned with progress, we will review the approach and offer extra support.
Online Session Issues: In case of technical issues, the session will be rescheduled without additional cost.
Behavioral Issues: We will address disruptive behavior with parents and may suggest a new tutor if necessary.
Payment Delays: Sessions may be suspended until payment is received.
Quality Guarantee: If the first session doesn’t meet expectations, a refund or different tutor will be offered.
